Job description

General description:

You provide 1st line service to the Xeikon customers using advanced digital presses in their production environment. 

Your goal is to guarantee an optimal functioning of the Xeikon machine, to assure the service levels agreed with the customer

and to assist the customer in achieving the best printing quality.  Aiming for customer satisfaction is part of your attitude.

Your residence location is in Toulouse area and you mainly work in a large south-west part of France. You might be required to perform visits in the rest of the country and all Europe to deliver the service to the Xeikon customers. You can work in complete autonomy ( home office ), and perform daily reportings to your manager.

 

Main tasks:

  •       Phone support on Xeikon machines, finishing equipment and workflow.
  •       Interventions, scheduled and preventive maintenance at customer’s site to assure high efficiency of the Xeikon engine.
  •       Operator support and guidance for new customers and new machines.
  •       Site surveys in preparation of a machine installation.
  •       Support during machine installation till full acceptance of the production line.
Profile
  •       Skilled and experienced engineer with knowledge of electric software.
  •       Quick learner of technical data.
  •       Some years of experience in machine maintenance, field engineering and/or graphics industry are a plus.
  •       Excellent in troubleshooting & problem analysis.
  •       Keen to find root causes and fix technical issues.
  •       Good practical, up-to-date knowledge of common IT hard- and software.
  •       Customer oriented.
  •       Self-supporting, flexible, stress resistant.
  •       Cost conscious, pragmatic.
  •       Very good French & English are required.
